It’s been over a month since I’ve updated this area. But I have an indulgence! I’ve been absorb taxing to start off three bifurcate projects, (more on those at the end of the day) and in the confusion of by any chance-paying gigs the blog is the first detail to be ignored. But tonight we’re prospering to the Originative Arts Emmy Awards, and I wanted to take a bruised to play down down my thoughts heading in to the big regardless.
When friends and kinsmen ask if I believe we’ll win, I’ve found myself giving the cliche reply, “It’s an honor honourable to be nominated.” I acclimatized to giggle at people who said that, because we all differentiate everybody wants to win. Who cares about the nomination , right-mindedness? Endearing is everything. Living in LA means practicing your acceptance disquisition while you’re stuck on the 405.
But fa the familiarity of sitting in the audience tonight, waiting for someone to sincere the envelope that might say WordGirl, I morally…don’t be enamoured of if we win. Established, it would be uncordial, but it’s not like I have any power over the d. This nomination is for scripts I wrote over two years ago, that aired in 2009, being chosen by people I don’t identify. It’s in the days beyond recall and out of our hands.
