The Heights - Four Apprehended After Senior Stabbed in Mods
A Boston College swot was the sap of a stabbing in the Mods premature Saturday morning. Oversee arrested four non-BC individuals in connecting with the invasion and are currently pursuing a fifth assaulter.
The casualty, Jeremiah Hegarty, CSOM '11, underwent surgery at Beth Israel Asylum after having been stabbed in the abdomen, University Spokesman Jack Dunn said.
He remained hospitalized as of Sunday.
One of the four detained students was arrested for set and battery with a chancy weapon and the other three were arrested as accessories, Dunn said.
BC Patrol Chief John Crowned head said officers received a call at 2:39 a.m. Saturday on a stabbing in the Mods, and arrived on the seascape within unkindly three minutes.
Brandon Quinn, A&'S '11, said he was in the Mods and arrived at the milieu several minutes after the stabbing.
Hegarty was still on the panorama at the prematurely, Quinn said. "He was like he had been there for a few minutes and people were crowded around him," Quinn said.
