  • Q-And-A with Steve Lunde, Prairie Bluff Golf Course Pro

Lunde is the golf pro at Prairie Pretend Golf Course in Lockport. Originally from Wisconsin, Lunde moved to Illinois, where he began working his way up starting in the pro purchase before becoming a golf pro. He has been as Prairie Bluff for the past 12 years.

How did you first get involved with golf?

It all started out as a caddie. When I was unfledged there wasn’t much of a choice when it came to summer jobs. It was either a caddie or a newspaper boy. It really worked out because every Monday was hand day, so we got to golf for free. That’s when I first started playing.

Do you regret your decision not to play college golf?

No, I Non-Standard real don’t. I knew that playing professionally was never an option. I thought I’d want to do something in golf, but playing professionally wasn’t it. I gave up golf for a scant bit and worked with a mortgage company for a while. I got sick of that and wanted to get back into golf, so I called my brother (Scott) who is a PGA fellow and I got a job in Naperville.

Your yoke is OK, a little bit thin at WR.

I can't believe you traded away a guaranteed starter in Fred Taylor and a #1 receiver in Hines Precinct for Bush & Johnson.

Reggie may not even be a starter for the Saints if

    About this book
In this contentious book, Randy Thornhill and Craig Palmer use evolutionary biology to explain the causes of rape and to subscribe to new approaches to its prevention. According to Thornhill and Palmer, evolved adaptation of some sort gives rise to abduction; the main evolutionary question is whether rape is an adaptation itself or a by-product of other adaptations. Thornhill and Palmer address, and insist on to demolish scientifically, many myths about rape bred by social science theory over the past 25 years. The stylish contention that rapists are not motivated by sexual desire is, they argue, scientifically inaccurate. The book also includes a advantageous summary of evolutionary theory and a comparison of evolutionary biology's and social science's explanations of individual behavior.
