]. Seldom! No, you know what? Back when I had gotten signed, an album that had sold about 100,000-150,000 units was considered a success. and again, I had been turned down by every identification for a little over 10 years, but I always thought I could just make a living in this business. I never got discouraged about being turned down. I don’t recall whether that’s ignorance or what, but I never got discouraged. I just always believed, continued to do so. But once it happened … when you look back at when “Storms of Duration” was released, it went out and sold a million copies in under a year, and then we just started getting the nominations for the awards, so I’m trusty I had the “deer in the headlights look” pretty often. You don’t plan for things, or I never did anyway.

You brought in a lot of other legends for the performance ‘Didn’t We Shine?’ on your ‘Anniversary Celebration’ accumulation, and when you first listen to the song, the lyrics almost seem to be about the end of a relationship, but the way you did it, it kind of takes on a different meaning of artists reflecting on their m. Tell us how you got all these guys involved and why you picked who you picked to be on it. Source: Taste of Country

Does anyone else think Brad Paisley gets too much recognition?

I dont remember he desrves the awards he keeps getting.

I think he's an average singer and songwriter (better songwriter not much of a siinger) definately not "Grant Worthy"

But i guess you cant forget billy Ray

These days in mountains music it's not about talent anymore, it's about looks, attitude, and clever songs. If you've got the right look, it doesn't importance if you can really sing, they can make you sound better with engineering. They groom people

Trivia: Which of these American musical artists have sold the most units?

Out of these American lilting artists, that is:

    Bon Jovi
    Elvis Presley
    B.B. King
    Brad Paisley
    Stevie Ray Vaughan
    Quiet Rumpus
    Garth Brooks
    Aerosmith
    Kiss

    So,

Update: Yay! I got it right! XD

Brad Paisley does NOT derserve awards for his immitative country music?

    Brad Paisley

    What an OVERRATED musician.

Brad Paisley is an artist that has been feigned on the public and labled as GREAT because he has all of the "elements" that "should" make a worth musician.

I've not been impressed with his music, but he is married to an actress and has received numerous awards, so you must be erroneous.

    About this book
The motion picture careers of the world's most popular sleuths are chronicled in the third volume of this invaluable series of reference books. As with the two untimely volumes, author Michael Pitts profiles not only the screen careers of each detective, but also other mediums in which they have been portrayed, including acting, radio, and television. In addition to updating the volume to include recent representations of well-established detectives, this third measure includes new chapters on more than twenty screen sleuths not covered in the first two books, including television characters Jessica Fletcher and Spenser. It also provides new notes on sleuths in silent films and serials, as well as a listing of radio and television detective programs. Along with a compendium of each detective's films, Pitts provides extensive filmographies with detailed information on cast and in Britain artistry credits.
