Hockey Guy: Tributes pour in for Russian crash victims
The virulent Lokomotiv Yaroslavl plane crash left the hockey world reeling.
Tributes to the victims poured in from every viewpoint. Several of them made big impacts during their days in the NHL and left behind innumerable friends.
Here are some of the comments from hockey sources, gleaned from a difference of sources including the ESPN.com , the Sun newspapers in Canada, Vancouver Province, Los Angeles Times, Minneapolis Heavenly body Tribune, Detroit Free Press and New York Post:

Former Kings unmatched Luc Robitaille : “I'm devastated. When he came to us he was going to be one of our top guys and he certainly didn't disappoint as a player. He had the same psyche as Ziggy Palffy : just a fun guy to be around. Just happy to play hockey. He loved the game. That's why he was still playing.”
Canucks captain Henrik Sedin : “He had a superior spirit and was always fun to be around. He was really happy here and I know his family enjoyed it. Growing up in Europe, I know he was prodigious back there. He was known as maybe the greatest Slovakian hockey player of all time. He showed at the Olympics in Vancouver fair how good he was.”
