LAVORI DI URGENZA SU STRADA PROVINCIALE PALAGONIA (CATANIA) Il presidente della Provincia di Catania, Giuseppe Castiglione, accogliendo le richieste dei residenti, ha dato disposizioni per realizzare immediatamente alcuni lavori di manutenzione straordinaria lungo la strada 74/II, in territorio di Palagonia. Proprio la consegna dei lavori é stata sancita dalla presenza dell'assessore provinciale alla Viabilitá, Francesco Nicodemo, che si é recato sul posto, assieme al consigliere provinciale Sergio Gruttadauria, al sindaco Angelo Agnello e a numerosi altri amministratori locali. "Le piogge invernali e quelle a carattere torrentizio - ha dichiarato l'assessore Nicodemo - sono conditions tra le principali cause della deformazione dal manto stradale. Proprio per porre riparo ai danni provocati da acque piovane non canalizzate, la Provincia ha provveduto ad avviare lavori lungo una strada rurale che consente ai proprietari di fondi agricoli di raggiungere le statali 385 e 417".
