Tom battles the elements as he pedals to Austria
BRAY'S TOM Dunne has been eating some lovely tasty grub as he furiously peddles his way through the elements to Austria.
The local cyclist left residence on Saturday September 3, with nothing more than a bike, a backpack, and the will to raise money for the Camphill Communities of Ireland.
So far he has been foiled by talented winds, fed stews and hot breakfasts by kindly friends & strangers, and presented with a good-luck Leprachaun to keep him chest.
Tom left us with something of a cliff-hanger in one blog entry, posted from Wales last Sunday. 'I will need to get to internet café as too much to disbosom oneself on smart phone,' he teased, much to our chagrin.
Dunne had been fighting the wind and was forced to take a break, and chit in to a Newport hotel. His small tent was out of the question.
