The whining of the rife with « The Fact-Based Community : Through Glenn Reynolds, whither I wandered because of Trait’s function about something else positively, I came upon this honestly stunning pasticcio of mendacity, unconsciousness, and trifling-minded cupidity. It’s value a shut up look because the originator is a law professor, not some drugged-faction dropout Limbaugh lemming, and because the shape of entitlement and whining is characteristic of a unprejudiced figure up of the comments I got on my appointment about intergenerational justice (and by magnitude, fairness).
Because Obama proposes to let the Bush tax cuts discontinue only on “incomes above $250K”, I was surprised that Prof. Xxxx Xxxxxxxxx expected to be importantly worse off under the president’s outline.... He says his dearest’s “combined revenues exceeds the $250,000 threshhold for the wonderful plentiful (but not by that much).”... [H]e says he’s paying “nearing $100,000″ in brilliance and federal taxes, not including sales tax; let’s say $95,000. Leaving out his effects tax, that’s $80,000 in proceeds tax. How much receipts would tip to this tolerant of tax hit?... [H]is pretax relations revenues exceeds $250,000 by at least $90,000. But this doesn’t embrace tax-unrestricted contributions to their 401Ks.... So we’re easy on the eyes obstruct to $400K plain profits, and on top of that their employers are doubtless putting moneyed into their retirement funds....

Summer is the most aesthetic of seasons. You've got it all in intense fashion — sounds, sights, smells, feelings. Our senses are on apex alert.
The argument could be made that spring, fall and winter have their own sensory uniqueness, but I think we are more aware in summer.
Here are some thoughts on my most favorite of seasons, some referencing days gone by.
Nighttime is the sound time: The nighttime sounds of summer are wistful — cicadas, a passing train, a riverboat, a unsophisticated person shouting as he returns home at night, laughter from a darkened front porch, a TV heard through a filter door, shouts at a backyard party under paper lanterns.
Nighttime sights are in a league of their own: The moon appearing through the tree plan atop a hill, street lights casting web-like shadows on a cobblestone street, the middle lights of a passing bus or streetcar showing just a few lone travelers aboard, the flame from the stacks of sword mills, lights of a river town, a single bulb brightens a third-floor window of an otherwise-night-time home (someone reading?)
