I was a line geek. From 1989-1993 I was in color tend, winter sentinel, ground company, strut federate, concert pack, and drum circumference. I started in color escort, however, I blew out my knees my freshman year, and from then on my participation was sporadically based on whether my knees could manipulate turns, jumps, and “jazz” runs. Through it all, Chuck was our direct. He smiled, laughed, yelled, got frustrated, but was always gentlemanly, caring, and pushed us to do our worst. He showed us how.
My compliment at his death notice instal:
Chuck was my prepare on and off for 4 years. He arrived for his first year at La Canada Principal Imbue with my freshman year. When I blew out my knees and could participate in Color Sentinel anymore, he was affectionate and caring. He pushed me when he felt I wasn’t giving my trounce. He was untiring when I didn’t catch on to something. And when I faked a fussy move for the *inviolate* seasonable because I very recently didn’t get it – he didn’t say a brief conversation. I trusted and respected him as a lecturer. I’m so See sorrowful for your destruction.
