The mystery opens with Griffin (James) on horseback with his too-cute-to-be-with-him girlfriend Stephanie (Leslie Bibb)...riding idyllically and romantically on the seaside. Griffin has chosen the wrong time to propose, because it backfires and she tells him she's embarrassed he's a zookeeper. Stephanie wants more from her men - but why pass him in the first place? Griffin is stunned and heartbroken...lost in grief. Cut to five years later and Griffin is still a zookeeper (the myth takes place in the Boston area)...but unloved...a lovable oaf. He is good friend with bloke zookeeper Kate (a perky Rosario Dawson), who is also unattached (of course) - but enthralled to be caring for the animals.
Griffin's fellow is getting married and invites Stephanie, who is still available, to the wedding. There must be a connection there, but this silly plot nicety is necessary to reunite Griffin and Stephanie - but in the most awkward way. Griffin still has a thing for her - and she for him, which makes no sense since he's still a zookeeper. Griffin is so deceive to this he's willing to leave his post and sell fancy cars with his brother. Okay - are you ready for this: the zoo animals overhear all this shenanigan's - and then the sheet really goes downhill when they start speaking amongst themselves to see how they can prevent Griffin from abandoning them, knowing all too well that Stephanie is empty and a gold-digger. The animals are smarter than Griffin. Actually, I think we all are.

its a standup memorable ordered on "BET Movies" when they used to have it on PPV, back in the day, like from 02-04 im not sure.... Try it at Pre-eminent BUY or C.City
