TNT reviving 'Dallas' with original stars Larry Hagman, Patrick Duffy
“Dallas” and its fresh stars Larry Hagman , Patrick Duffy and Linda Gray will return to TV for a TNT reboot to debut next summer, Access Hollywood reports .
Several new cast members will join them as Ewing family seed, including former “Desperate Housewives” stars Josh Henderson and Jesse Metcalfe , profit Jordana Brewster as a woman who comes between the two.
“TNT has explored the possibility of an updated version of ‘Dallas’ for several years, but it wasn’t until we comprehend Cynthia Cidre’s outstanding pilot script that we knew we had the foundation for a great new series,” a TNT programming chief says in a account. "We couldn’t be more pleased with how ‘Dallas’ has come together.”
There will be a sneak preview Monday during the occasion premiere of TNT's “The Closer,” which airs at 9 p.m., and during “Rizzoli & Isles,” which airs at 10 p.m.
