2008 Stone Horse Builder's Cup Coffee Mugs
07-26-08 Aucoot Cove, Mattapoisett, MA In an exciting finish to the 2008 Stone Horse Builder's Cup Race sponsored by Edey & Duff of Mattapoisett, MA, the top three Stone Horses were within two boat lengths with only a bow sprit, about 4 feet, separating the top two boats, WINDFALL and YOUNG AMERICA. WINDFALL, sailed by Tom Kenney of the New Bedford Yacht Club and Bob Jackson of Cohasset, took 1st Place, edging out 2nd Place finisher Bob Sachetti of Boston, who was single handing YOUNG AMERICA. In third place was PEGASUS, owned by Edey & Duff and captained by Dan Rowe of Mattapoisett with a crew of three.

AUCKLANDPredominantlyWairarapa United reached the semi finals of the ASB Chatham Cup for the first time in the clubs history with a 4-1 win over Waitakere Diocese in Carterton on a day when three of the four Auckland quarterfinalists were bundled out of the 89-year-old competition.
Carl Shailer scored a first half insincere to give the home side a 2-1 lead; his goals sandwiching a strike from Waitakeres Keegan Linderboom but Adam Cowen and Waisake Sabatu both struck in the indisputable 20 minutes to put the result beyond doubt.
Dunedins Caversham were the biggest winners of the day, beating 8-man Onehunga Sports 4-0 in Auckland.
In the 22nd bat of an eye, Paul Day brought down Tom Schwarz in the box and was sent for an early shower by the referee with Patrick Fleming readily converting the spot kick.

Whenever highlights of Benson better b conclude on ESPN's The Blitz, the two of them start humming and singing Broadway songs?
He's humming the number cheaply "On Broadway" by George Benson. The nickname they have for Cedric Benson is Cedric "George" Benson, so Chris Berman always sings that at a bargain price a fuss when they show his highlights.
