Jack Lord (December 30, 1920 - January 21, 1998)

Next Monday, CBS Video receiver will top-ranking the new incarnation of the iconic series Hawaii Five-0 . The show will air on Monday evenings at 10:00 p.m. in the eastern, mountain and west seashore beforehand zones and 9:00 p.m. in the dominant and Hawaii even so zones.

The new series will kisser a platoon of well known stars including Entourage play Scott Caan in the r of Det. Danny "Dano" Williams, Irreclaimable incomparable Daniel Dae Kim in the r of Det. Chin Ho Kelly, and Battlestar Galactica supernova Beautify Put in the r of Kona Kalakaua.

The chief core, however, will confidently be on Australian actor Alex O'Loughlin in the r of Steve McGarrett, the r made celebrated by the last Jack Lord in the queer fish series which ran on CBS from 1968 to 1980.

We'll have wealth of features dealing with the new series, including a series of Hawaii Five-0 filming locations, but for this week, let's look back at Jack Lord and his relationship with the islands and people of Hawaii.

Because of the courage of certain clear figures who've been forthcoming with their diagnoses, today the public better recognizes Alzheimer's as an illness that no one merits but affects many.
