Luis Ray Iglesias
Iglesias died Sunday, Walk 22, 2009, in Boyd.
Born Aug. 25, 1961, in Tapastas, Cuba, to Luis M. and Maria (Mercedes) Martinez Iglesias, he was a retired overflowing furnishings administrator. He married Vickey Zoe McWhirter Feb. 7, 1977, in Hobart, Okla.
He was preceded in cessation by his founder; and brothers, Jose and Albert Iglesias.
He is survived by his ball; sons, Luis Ray Iglesias Jr. and little woman, Chelsea, of Bridgeport, and Adam Iglesias and trouble, Leah, of Hesperides; a daughter, Summer Iglesias and budget, Sincere Estevez, of Tampa, Fla.; grandchildren, A.J., Autumn, Austin, Audrie, Aiden and Zofia; his pamper; brothers, Ralph, Leonard, George, Jesus and Johnny Iglesias; sisters, Luisa Horton and Juana Wenmohs; stepbrothers, Lelo Iglesias, Luis M. Iglesias Jr. and Edward Iglesias; and stepsisters, Jessica Iglesias, Estrala Iglesias, Bella Iglesias, Blanca Flores and Eva Gomez.

Engelbert Humperdinck gives the Hard Rock a lesson in showmanship
At one sense, Humperdinck told the audience, “This is where it gets fun.”Selecting a woman from the audience, whose name was Lucy, he placed her in a throne and asks her to hold the song lyrics that he claims he doesn’t know and he’s effective to sing to her. The song “You Don’t Know Me” was made popular by Ray Charles, but Humperdinck made it his own.
He not only sang it chicly, he danced erotically for Lucy, sat on her lap and the gentle kiss on the lips was reciprocated tenfold by Lucy. In the end, out came the venerable red handkerchief and he asked her to rub him down which she gently caressed his chest with and he in turn tied it around her neck.
Humperdinck didn’t even gambol a beat after that smooching session. Immediately he moved into “Quando, Quando, Quando”.
From ballads to salsa, Humperdinck crosses so many dulcet genres it’s no wonder he has such a wide appeal.
“Ballads are my forte,” Humperdinck expressed, but his rendition of Bruce Springsteen’s “I’m on Fire” brought out the country in him as he donned a cowboy hat for the melody and even did a bit of two-stepping.
