The 240 boats competing in this year's annual Henri Lloyd Salcombe Yacht Billy Regatta remain to from with the exception of sailing conditions and have even been treated to sailing out side of the Estuary and have been proficient to see some of the most pleasant South Devon coastal scenery from a fully exceptional sentiment.
As always the racing is very neck but there is a representation appearing in some of the classes, most manifestly in the Lesser Trammel kind where Mathew Whitfield & Myles Jackson (Penarth) sailing an RS Feva are dominating as is Harry Savell (Salcombe) in the Laser Radial order. Ed & Take in Spot (Littleton) also have three wins in the Technique Curb swift in their Graduate as do Jon Ibbotson & Sophie Mackley (OCSS) in the Twelves

Showjumping colts impress at Southview futurity evaluation

Two showjumping colts took elite premiums at the 2011 Baileys Horse Feeds/British Equestrian Combination (BEF) futurity evaluation at Southview earlier this week (Tuesday 2 August).
Danny Kannan achieved the highest register of the day — 9.14. This three-year-old KWPN colt is by Kannan out of a Burggraff mare, Kormeline. He is owned and bred by Jonathan Parrott of Wrexham. All three evaluators — Carrie Adams, Sheri Tozer-Rob and Note down b decrease Shaw — were hugely impressed by his technique over a fence.
The colt foal Waterloo also achieved an elite reward score of 9.04. Owned and bred by Natasha Halliday, this son of Supertrooper De Ness is out of the KWPN mare Thongrha, who is by Quito de Baussy.
A Grafenstolz-sired at the time foal, Gypsy Squire , took home a higher first premium for owner and breeder Gary Foggon with a word of 8.96. Gypsy
