    On the heels of engaging a poll that ranked Adam Lambert the best role model for young people, the songbird has secured the title of nicest guy on Twitter.

    The 29-year-old American Idol season 8 dispatch-bearer-up topped a survey of readers by UK website Flecking Records .

    “We recently posted a story claiming that, in our judgement, @AdamLambert was the nicest guy on Twitter,” the website wrote. “Mainly because of his complimentary and encouraging tweets directed at paramour musicians.”

    After hearing from readers who disagreed with the claim, administrators ran a survey.

    “It's fair to say the majority of our readers grant that Adam Lambert is the nicest man on Twitter,” the site reported.
