Illustrious for his Bruce lee like " art of acting without acting " form, Robert Ginty non the less carved out a toy corner of cinema record during the 70's and 80's. I call to mind seeing the video take in for The Exterminator (1980) in a limited look for when I was a teenager. The counterbalance simile of Ginty waving a flamethrower while wearing a motorcycle helmet sold it to me. Years later I came across a VHS echo of Light-skinned Fire (1984) and slowly reacquainted myself with his line. Consideration the big name of some serious TV roles and The Exterminator he followed it up with many gung ho fight B-movies. You may never have seen or heard of Codename : Fiercely, Assignment Put an end to, Cop Object, Warriors Of The Irreclaimable Over the moon marvellous, Programmed To Finish off or any of the others but they do an existence.
RIP Robert Ginty from the exterminator, paper go out after, Warrior of the Lost World, white, BaBa Black Sheep, MASH, The Bounty Huntsman, etc what a great ...

During the tidings abyss that is the San Diego Comic-Con, Synapse Films announced that the crazy Vietnam vet seeking give a Roland for an Oliver flick The Exterminator was finally hitting home video on Blu-ray. Of course this announcement was swallowed up in all the disorder, but the official artwork and specs are now in!
From the Press Release : Christopher George, Robert Ginty, and Samantha Eggar star in THE EXTERMINATOR, James Glickenhaus' explosive news of Vietnam vet John Eastland (Ginty), a man who launches a bloody vendetta against the New York underworld when his best beau is brutally beaten by a vicious street gang. Eastland becomes a vigilante hero to the public, but to the Old Bill The Exterminator is a psychopath capable of dangerously undermining an entire government administration.
Synapse Films is proud to put on show THE EXTERMINATOR in its more violent and gory Director’s Cut, lovingly restored in high-definition from original vault materials. One of the most unfriendly-blooded and controversial revenge films ever made, this is “a sick example of the almost unbelievable descent into horrid savagery in American movies.” (Roger Ebert, Chicago Sun-Times)
