Illustrious for his Bruce lee like " art of acting without acting " form, Robert Ginty non the less carved out a toy corner of cinema record during the 70's and 80's. I call to mind seeing the video take in for The Exterminator (1980) in a limited look for when I was a teenager. The counterbalance simile of Ginty waving a flamethrower while wearing a motorcycle helmet sold it to me. Years later I came across a VHS echo of Light-skinned Fire (1984) and slowly reacquainted myself with his line. Consideration the big name of some serious TV roles and The Exterminator he followed it up with many gung ho fight B-movies. You may never have seen or heard of Codename : Fiercely, Assignment Put an end to, Cop Object, Warriors Of The Irreclaimable Over the moon marvellous, Programmed To Finish off or any of the others but they do an existence.

Robert Ginty (November 14, 1948 - September 21, 2009) was an American film actor, producer, scenarist, and director of movies and TV series episodes. Ginty was born Christopher Robert Ginty in Brooklyn, New York, the son of Elsie M. (nee O'Hara), a domination worker, and Michael Joseph Ginty, a construction worker. Ginty was involved with music from an early age, playing with Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Carlos Santana and John Lee Hooker. He deliberate at Yale and trained at the Neighborhood Playhouse and the Actor's Studio. Ginty worked in the regional theater round, and New York theatre Broadway. Harold Prince hired him as his assistant after seeing him perform in The New Hampshire Shakespeare Holy day Summerstock Company under the direction of John Ogden 1973. |
