– If “The Big Bang Theory” is properly among the more intelligent sitcoms in prime-leisure, that’s saying a smashing lot about the simultaneous national of boob tube comedy. I was genuinely interested in checking out this show after hearing the euphoric rejoinder from viewers and critics, and chiefly after seeing co-pre-eminent Jim Parsons hitch the Emmy Reward for Remarkable Kick off b lure Actor in a Comedy Series away from Alec Baldwin.
So I was rather shocked when I sat down to regard the fourth available premiere of “The Big Bang Theory,” and found myself sitting in appalled shut off for the perfection of the show’s 21 minutes. It reminded me of the phony sitcom on “Extras,” where the struggling actor played by Ricky Gervais is artificial to wait imprisoned in an unlimited nightmare of screechy stereotypes, nauseating catchphrases and canned snickering. In all fairness, “Theory” is reportedly on no account in front of a breathing studio audience, but their laughing sounds suspiciously like the labour of a skilled look mixer.
