Debut Of New Gods and Generals Film Friday
Maxwell, who has trenchant feelings about sharing his sense of the Civil War and its importance in the nation's history through Gods and Generals and his other Lay War epic Gettysburg, will be joined that Gods and Generals stars Donzaleigh Abernathy as Martha; Bruce Boxleitner as Lt. Gen. James Longstret; Frankie Faison as Jim Lewis; Dennis Frye as Griffin's coadjutor Sgt. Thomas Chamberlain; and Brian Mallon as Maj. Gen. Winfield Scott Hancock. Additional actors and peel associates may also be participating.
The event is part of a weekend of programs, including a massive reenactment, commemorating the First Conflict of Manassas, fought July 21,1861.
Friday's film premiere is co-sponsored by the Waterford-based Career partnership, Warner home Video and the Virginia Film Office. Proceeds will benefit students of all ages through the educative programs of the Journey National Heritage Area that stretches from Gettysburg, PA, to Monticello.

i was so jubilant to see them both on OLTL. They played the parents of Todd's bodyguard Shaun. Yes, skilful actors! I was glad to see his parents period. He deserves a back story and history, I like Shawn.
