Kapar-based club bags most gold medals to emerge overall champions
The academy carriage S. Prem said they were delighted with their exponents impressive outing in the championship.
We have a big group of exponents. They are old from five onwards. The exposure gained from this championships would certainly make them wiser. Those who had won gold medals should not catch on their laurels.
Instead they should train more diligently to maintain their supremacy. The academys vision is to see these exponents representing the dignified and country, said Prem.
The Malaysia Karate Federation (Makaf) president Datuk Seri Mohd Ali Rustam and his spokesperson Datuk Mohd Noor Nordin Abdullah were also present during the championships.
Looking at their enthusiasm, they must have been over the moon with the organisation of the competition.
Thiagu, who is also the Putrajaya Karate Association secretary, said the champion- ships had motivated them to organise more events.
It was not an undemanding task but with support from the members and Makaf, we had succeeded in organising a competition similar to the world championships, said Thiagu.
