Moon Area furloughs 19 support staffers, 8 cafeteria workers
Edwards said the community anticipates only three of the support staff members who were notified will be furloughed. In addition, 16 new support rod positions and 10 cafeteria jobs are expected to be created based on the needs of the students and the partition, she said.
Edwards said the cafeteria employees are part of the Moon Area Educational Support Professionals alliance but do not fall under the support staff category.
