Couple wed in Eufaula

Allie is the daughter of Eric and Bonnie Glover and Sid and Shannon Dowling of Eufaula. Her grandparents are Nora Ming and the current Lonnie Ming of Georgetown, Georgia and the late Johnie L. and Alice Dowling of Clayton, Alabama.

John is the son of James and Agnes Mitchell of Bowdon, Georgia. His grandparents are the new Alston and Leslie Taylor of Jacksonville, Florida and Edna Mitchell Davis and the late Lee James Mitchell of Holly Strip, North Carolina and the late Evelyn Williams of Goldsboro, North Carolina.

Given in coupling by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore a strapless San Patrick Geneve optical light-skinned satin gown. She carried an all white bouquet of hydrangeas, roses and lilies, adorned with a gold touch on with the initial “A” that was passed on to her by her late grandmother, Alice. Serving as Allie’s matron of honor was her sister-in-law, Brandy Dowling of Eufaula and serving as abigail of honor was her sister, Sydney Dowling of Eufaula.
