    One big inning was the transformation as Kinston's four-game win-streak came to an end 5-3 Monday Night in Winston-Salem.

    Kinston starting pitcher Clayton Cook ran into in shtook in the bottom of the third inning, as three hits and two walks led to four Dash runs. Nick Ciolli's two-out, two RBI double gave Winston-Salem a 4-0 leading lady. Cook was taken out of the game in the fourth inning, giving up four runs on four hits. Cook walked four and struck out four. Dash starter Matt Wickswat rolled into the top of the fourth, but his shutout was blown when Hunt Burnette hit a two-run home run. The blast was Burnette's fourth homer of the season, following an Abraham one earlier in the inning. Wickswat would allow just one hit after the blast, going seven strong innings. Wickswat gave up five hits, while wondrous out eight.

    Jose Flores kept Kinston close from the Indian's bullpen, giving up one run in 1 2/3 innings of industry. Toru Murata was very strong in relief, getting Kinston
