    JETS 37 GIANTS 12

    The Jets built up a 19-0 halftime place and then coasted to a 37-12 victory over the Giants in recent Major Division action.

    After a nice runback on the opportunity kickoff, the Jets scored on their first offensive play of the game as Angelo Spata raced 34 yards for the touchdown. Antonio Battaglia added the spare point for a quick 7-0 lead. The team also scored on its second possession as Frankie Saracino, after declaration no one open down the field, took off on a six-yard run for the score. Later in the second quarter, Saracino hooked up with Spata for a 12-yard knock down as the Jets’ lead swelled to 19-0.

    The Giants did come back with two scores in the fourth quarter as Nikolas Tuason reached the end zone twice — first from six yards out and then again from seven yards — to accomplish the Giants to within seven points at 19-12.
