Hollywood has two more months to cow the crap out of audiences but how have they done thus far? Check out the slideshow for this year's horror movies.
Final Destination 5 starring Emma Bell, Nicholas D'Agosto and directed by Steven Quale was released August 21 2011. Somehow this rearrange grossed $42,587,643 domestically thus far. Get this, it has a worldwide gross of $157,887,643! The first two Final Destination films were edgy, new and touchy at times but once you get to five is it really still that great? It has a predictable plot but scary scenes, new faces but old storylines, yet somehow audiences are awaiting the manumission of the next Final Destination (guess it wasn't so final after all) no doubt already in the works. Hey, money talks!
Red Riding Hood was not a 'terror movie' but it had its moments and some categorize as a scary film due to the 'big bad wolf'' being in the film. Honestly, this is a scary film that had suspense and a bit of romance. Well worth the watch, Red Riding Hood was released March 2011 with a whole a gross $37,662,162 domestically. It was produced by Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Davison and stars Amanda Seyfried and Shiloh Fernandez.
