  • West Ham want £4m to loan Scott Parker to Chelsea for season

The West Ham Collaborative co-owner David Sullivan will seek a "substantial" loan fee before he is prepared to let Scott Parker go on a ready's loan to Chelsea , where the England international has been earmarked as a short-term replacement for the injured Michael Essien.

Although Aston Villa have made a bid of about £7m for Parker in an try to secure a permanent deal for the midfielder, it is thought that Parker would prefer a move to Chelsea and that a loan is West Ham's preferred choice. Their aim is to win promotion back to the Premier League and then take back the 30-year-old, whom they value at £8m.

Chelsea want Parker as make up for for Essien, who has been ruled out until February at the earliest after undergoing surgery on a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament and torn meniscus in his make right knee. That has prompted André Villas-Boas to explore adding to his options in midfield, with the supervisor conscious that he can register only 17 non-homegrown players in his 25-man squad. In that sense, a temporary move for Parker, in the lead of a pursuit of a player such as Newcastle's Cheik Tioté, would be beneficial.

However, by the end of the 1980s, in the face of economic collapse Guyana had reprobate its strategy of "cooperative socialism", and its economic policies converged with those generally supported by the IMF and World Bank.
