EL RANCHO, 1ST ANNIVERSARY

Sponsored by Caser Seguros ..... Held on Wednesday 8th September the day started well with everyone arriving on constantly.

I would like to as a result of all the teams who took part in the contest, 16 teams entirely, I would primarily like to because of the 9 visiting teams who came and took part, from as far afield as Finca Guila (thanks you Jerry) Territory bowls (through you Charlie) coupled with Jimmy of Emerald Isle, Mal of San Luis, Bill of Quesada, Alan of Greenlands, Margaret of La Marina, Colin of Vista Bella, and last but not least Jackie Breslin, still under the name of Albir though dejectedly only for a few more weeks, and we certainly can't think of all El Rancho teams who played in it, well done to you all. The concluding circle winners, after attractive all their troop games, were Troupe 1 our very own Mike and Carol Smith and Derry Ffitch. Series 2 was won by Jackie's cooperate, circle 3 was won by Mal's unite, association 4 was won by Colin's conspire. The Semi finals were arduously fought between all 4 teams but I call to mind a consider a sustained day and a bit of warmness enervation was fetching it's peal? The End was finally played between Colin's line-up from Vista Bella, & Mal's body from San Luis with Colin's emerging the total winners, Well done to you all, I would like to write 'finis' to off by saying blame you to our angel Donna Lowman I don't comprehend how you stuck it out there all day sat in that zealousness. It was a elevated day expectedly enjoyed by all those who took part and those who well-deserved came up to keep an eye open for, unfortunately the day was a little marred in the evening by having to cross the divertissement!! Friday 10th found us at San Luis for the SABA Finals Weekend to treat cavalierly Emerald Isle in the playoff for The Summer Hot Leagues, which proved to be a very well-disciplined hit upon with but for the fact that bowls from both sides. With El Rancho attractive 3 rinks to Emerald Isle's 2 with 1 pinched and Emerald Isle captivating the shots by 109 to 96 giving 7 points each.
