  • Mystery fireworks revealed

Our tips E-letters, (news@castanet.net), filled up with people asking about fireworks near the Delta Grand last unceasingly.

It turns out the show was arranged by End Of The Roll, the discount carpet and flooring company. They were celebrating 25 years, and they hired Skyline Fireworks to fruit the 15 minute spectacle.

According to Ron Persley, VP of Sales and Marketing, "It was a brilliant show."

Persley says about two hundred people took in the show. He says the flooring set was started in B.C., and they hold an annual conference in Kelowna. This year they did more to celebrate their silver anniversary.

"We had people representing 54 locations across Canada, and trade partners came from all over North America."

Persley says the fireworks were only part of what they offered bull session goers.

"Our guest speaker was Dr. Saul Miller, and we had Gerry Dee performing." Dee was a contender on Last Funny Standing.

Was Gerry Dee drunk on Last Comic Standing tonight?

I dont have knowledge of, it just seemed like he was a little tipsy during his performance. Anyone else notice this?

    Seemed customary.

    thats the way he is

I don't think Stan Mikita likes Gerry Dee very much, lol...?

...does Gerry not assert people he's a comedian so they really think he's an arrogant a-hole reporter? That's good stuff, makes me roar with laughter anyway.

They like to cogitate on he's the front man for Cabby so that they can be on his show after they are done with the Score's answer to Borat.

Any one fly air canada lately, What are they playing?

What movies, shows are playing on the off. I'm heading to Miami and want to know if they have the Gerry Dee standup show still on.

Uhm, why did you not google this yourself? Anyway they seem to have it all online: http://enroute.aircanada.com/en/entertai nment/listing/#television
