This is a moving picture about the well known sex specialist, Alfred Kinsey. He was a man that we see as driven to many of his choices because of obscurity inconspicuous and training as well as barely having a very exploring. Jockey Espinoza recovers, helps bettor win $1.1 million
— Jockey Conqueror Espinoza was tossed violently off a horse Sunday afternoon at Del Mar, but like all gutsy jockeys, he got virtue back in the saddle. And won.Three days after what he termed one of the worst spills of his career, a three-horse pileup that resulted in his horse being euthanized, Espinoza recovered hurriedly. On Wednesday he rode the John Sadler-trained Calimonco to a narrow win by a nose ahead of trainer Kristin Mulhall’s John Johny Jak in the $85,000 Wickerr Stakes at one mile on the racetrack eject course.
“I feel great right now,” Espinoza said. “I thought it was my ankle, but the next day all the torture was in my heel. It didn’t affect me because when I ride I hold all the weight in the front of my foot, so there’s no weight in the back. It was one of the worst falls I ever had.”
Like Espinoza, Calimonco, a 5-year-old son of Fume Cat, had trouble in his last race, failing to get out of the gate after getting his head turned and caught in the bar. That was one reason the horse went off at 20-1 and paid $43.40.
