In 1983 John Sexton productions Pty Ltd in association with Michael Edgley International released Phar Lap 'The Legend Remains' staring Tom Burlinson as strapper Tommy Woodcock and Towering Inferno as Phar Lap.
This scene took 20 takes and 2 hours to perfect, and was edited down to 6 seconds in the movie. Towering Inferno shied from the dolly (camera on tracks) with each take.

20th Century Fox, took up the U.S distribution rights, the movie was re-edited into a chronological version ensuring the element of surprise at the end - Phar Lap’s fate, and was re-titled to 'A Horse Called Phar Lap'. Outside the U.S the film’s production distributor was Robert Meyers International. In Britain it was re-titled to 'Phar Lap - Heart of a Nation'.

THE man known as the Man from Snowy River has many talents and guises.
Since his starring r in one of the most well-known Australian films, Tom Burlinson has been constantly reinventing himself.
Burlinson spoke to the Crush about acting, scope music and his new voyage, which plays at Rooty Hill RSL on Saturday.
“I’ve been fortuitous to be qualified to variegate within showbiz, working on mount, in telly and in movies,” he said.
His part in the iconic 1982 motion picture The Man From Snowy River changed his autobiography and led to a cord of starring roles in films such as Phar Lap and Eureka Stockade.
But the ‘90s proved to be a turning thought for Burlinson, who started prompt singing as the articulation of the immature Candid Sinatra in the Warner Brothers mini-series Sinatra.
“To broaden a euphonious side of my job was a take aback to me. It is eminent to definitely change between many areas,” he said.
In 1998 Burlinson kicked off his acclaimed performance Free - A Sustenance in To-do.
