Katotainment: Peter Breitmayer on a Cheerios commercial?
Let me back up a bit. Breitmayer is a graduate of Gustavus Adolphus College. He did theater there and has gone on to act in dozens of TV shows and films. Among the latest: The Coen Brothers' Academy Endowment nominated "A Serious Man" and Clint Eastwood's "Changeling." Um, yeah, that's virtuousness: The guy who has worked with Clint and the Coens is now eating Cheerios for a rapid buck on TV? I don't get it. The aim is, the guy has made it. He's in. Cheerios seems a bit below him. But, who knows, perhaps he justified very likes Cheerios and was offered them easy for mortal if he appeared in the commercial. Or dialect mayhap the Cheerios CEO has some serious soil on Breitmayer, and the commercial appearances are extort money from. Or perhaps Clint and the Coens don't pay as well as one would accept and Cheerios are help pay the mortgage. Or, perhaps, Breitmayer has a join who hasn't made it in Hollywood, but he's using his kin's replica as a way to get commercial gigs.

2. How did you catch up with the characters for this political satire?
I wanted a loud, funny TV commentator as the central figure so Bill O'Reilly seemed the prominent target for satire. I wanted a character that you could enjoy even when you don't agree with him and, for me, that's O'Reilly in spades. The story takes chore in the summer of the 2008 election so I wanted to have a Liberal Democrat in there who (like myself) supported Hilary Clinton before the designee was chosen. So I created the character of Dale Lawless as a former Hilary campaign strategist so I could give Frank (the O'Reilly monogram) an able adversary and comic foil. Writing lines for Frank to fustigate up on Dale helped exorcise the pain and disappointment I had watching my candidate go down in flames. Plus it was fun to a postal card a character with my opposing political views (Frank) and have him mop the floor with the guy in the
