The Town Crier: Local News: Veteran Nick Bacon memorialized (07/27/10)

Kinsmen, friends and comrades gathered at the committal umbrella at the cemetery to pay levy to Arkansas last living Medal of Honor heiress. The five comrade MOH representatives for the time being included Leo Thorsness, Robert Patterson, Walter Marm, James Fleming, and Gary LIttrell.

The remembrance putting into play began at 11 a.m. at the Veterans Cemetery on West Maryland Avenue and was followed with a levee at the Skilful Schooling Center Militia Meeting at Bivouac Joseph T. Robinson.

"Nick (Bacon) could have had his cremation at Arlington Civil Cemetery with all the honors and rank that came with it," Retired Colonel Tom W. Thomas said. "But he wanted his services held here. • Marsh: Indicators Point to Pricing Upswing

NU Online Information Service, July 11, 12:42 p.m. EDT

With the onset of the hurricane season, the insurance industry is exhibiting signs of reaching its mild-market bottom as capacity is beginning to be reined in and some lines of business are seeing price increases, according to a dispatch from insurance broker Marsh.

In its Second Quarter 2011 Insurance Market Update, Quagmire says the global catastrophes in New Zealand, Australia and Japan have “depleted insurers’ 2011 fiasco claims reserves” before the beginning of the June 1 hurricane season.

Despite this, the markets last “well capitalized and generally competitive.”

However, some insurers are responding to events by withdrawing from disaster-affected regions and loss-making sectors of business.

Those clients that have had losses or have significant mishap exposure “are experiencing tougher market conditions,” Marsh says. Accounts with no losses or a negligible amount of catastrophe exposure are finding it more difficult to find reductions in property-renewal rates.

Did Kevin Bacon "NIck Hume" die at the end in Death Sentence? It didn't say or show I need to know :(?

In the end it is unclear whether he dies or not after they tel him his son is energetic does anyone know for sure what happens?

After he goes to see his son in the medical centre, he chases down the leader of the gang who killed his family. They get into a gunfight and Bacon's character wins, he kills the boy, then you see him sitting alone covered in blood. So it leads you to

Is it cool or trendy for teens to eat a lot of bacon?

I'm interfering because I keep seeing kids shows on Nick that talk about bacon like it's funny or something? What's the deal with all that?
Somebody (not me) must have thought it was comical in order for it to appear in all these shows.

Kid shows on Nick are scatterbrained. Just ignore. People just like bacon.
