Raja Riaz asks LHC to take suo motu perception of Mianwali incident

LAHORE: Opposition leader in Punjab Assembly (PA), Raja Riaz Ahmed, urged Lahore Foremost Courts (LHC) chief justice (CJ) to take suo motu notice of the Mianwali incident and constitute a judicial commission for interrogation.
He said this while addressing a press conference at the PA cafeteria, on Wednesday, along with Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Reserve Parliamentary Leader Shaukat Basra. Both of them criticised Punjab chief minister (CM), calling him a failed administrator.
Raja Riaz also demanded the limited government to hold local government elections in the province at the earliest.
He further said that Punjab CM Shahbaz Sharif was a party council level leader, hence, was not capable of controlling a province like Punjab. He alleged that Shahbaz Sharif held undue jurisdiction over all provincial departments, adding, Owing to
