What is this hyped up bullshit? I've never seen Godfather look as bad as they're making the "before" shots look. That looks worse than scatter boob tube. This reminds me of people pigging out to stuff on some pounds principal before they go on a abstain so they can concoct it look like they're losing more force.
There's gotta be a more intelligent way to whoremonger your commodity than phony before/after images. F you, blu-ray. VHS til I die!
How many times can a skin be remastered or restored? If I about correctly, the Godfather films were remastered for Laser Disc in the delayed 90's, then remastered again when they came to DVD, and now re-re-remastered/restored for BD/DVD. I've never seen any of the Godfather films look as bad as the examples. (Distinguished Wars, yes) I've seen the originals when they came to theaters in the prematurely 70's, and to be sound, I haven't seen any verified leftovers or corruption since then. So what's all the hubbub? It's all marketing to handle more copies to the civic, because the emperor has no clothes. Someday, even Lucas will miraculously find some unspoiled prints of the master Play Wars films and unveil them on BD/DVD in anamorphic widescreen.

Director Joe Johnston really redeemed himself for me with “Captain America,” because his preceding film “Wolfman” was not that good. I loved Johnston’s beginning travail with “Honey, I Shrunk the Kids,” “The Rocketeer” and “Jumanji,” but then I did not undeniably pay attention to his films after that.
With “Captain America,” he successfully ties in all of the other Marvel films. This cinema is kind of the foundation to connect the other Marvel films that have been released since “Hulk” and “Iron Man,” tying the experiences lines together for next year’s “The Avengers.”

About this book Over the recent three decades, racial prejudice in America has declined significantly and many African American families have seen a non-stop rise in employment and annual income. But alongside these encouraging signs, Thomas Shapiro argues in The Veiled Cost of Being African American, fundamental levels of racial inequality persist, particularly in the extent of asset accumulation--inheritance, savings accounts, stocks, bonds, home equity, and other investments-. Shapiro reveals how the be of these family assets along with continuing racial discrimination in crucial areas like homeownership dramatically smash the everyday lives of many black families, reversing gains earned in schools and on jobs, and perpetuating the recycle of poverty in which far too many find themselves trapped.Shapiro uses a combination of in-depth interviews with almost 200 families from Los Angeles, Boston, and St. Louis, and patriotic survey data with 10,000 families to show how racial inequality is transmitted across... |
